Galvanised boat cradles for winter storage

September 2011 – Once the sailing season has finished, boats are taken out of the water and put into winter storage. Many marinas use boat cradles. The boats are placed on the cradles and then taken to the storage location on a trailer, keeping them high and dry, and making maintenance and repairs easier. To prevent corrosion, Verzinkerij Kampen hot-dip galvanises the cradles.

Metalworking company E. Out from Naarden has the know-how, experience and the machines required to deliver a very wide range of customised projects. The company used 27.5 tons of sheet steel to produce tailored cradles, struts, keel supports and strut plates. Verzinkerij Kampen hot-dip galvanised these steel cradles to provide them with ensuring protection against corrosion.
